About the Mission
Healthy ecosystems are built over generations, not seasons. As a restoration ecologist, I help landowners and organizations restore native habitats by understanding how plants, soils, water, and wildlife function as connected systems. Whether improving riparian corridors, restoring native plant communities, or developing long-term stewardship plans, my approach is rooted in careful observation, ecological science, and respect for the natural history of each landscape.
My background includes ecological research in the San Francisco Estuary, habitat restoration, agricultural field research at Oregon State University, invasive species management, and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Oregon State University. More than a decade of teaching biology and environmental science taught me that the best ecological solutions are those people can understand, participate in, and sustain.
I founded Regional Terraforming because I believe restoration is more than repairing damaged landscapes—it is rebuilding the ecological relationships that allow native systems to flourish for decades to come.
